Redmine is a powerful project management tool from which we have spoken on the odd occasion ( here and here ). Redmine is written in Ruby on Rails , but in some cases this may be a handicap if our hosting provider we Ruby supports onRails so far had two options: change our supplier or change tools

Now is the solution to this dichotomy: CandyCane

Still under development, but many of its funcionalides are developed CandyCane us a port of Redmine written in PHP using the framework CakePHP

Currently not been ported (though probably be implemented soon) functionality:

• Repository Browser
• Forums
• Documents

But without these functionalities are empleéis usually CandyCane allowed to use the other features of Redmine in a single hosting PHP5 + MySQL
